Uses & Tips

Concerned about meeting current VOC regulations with the products you use or sell?

All BLUE WORKSTM products are 50-state VOC compliant.

You no longer need to purchase separate NSF H1 & H2 Silicone products!

BLUE WORKS Industrial Grade Silicone has the power and strength of an H2 silicone AND is both NSF H1 & H2 certified! Typically H1 certified silicones are less powerful than H2 silicones to allow for use around food. However, WD-40 Company has formulated BLUE WORKS Industrial Grade Silicone to be both NSF H1 & H2 certified so it is safe to use in food environments, yet doesn’t sacrifice the power and strength that an H2 silicone provides. Since BLUE WORKS Silicone has both certifications, you will only need one type of silicone for your plant, and you don’t have to worry about the wrong can ending up in the wrong area. When we say Industrial Grade, we mean it!

If you need an Industrial Grade Lubricant that can withstand extreme pressure and temperature:

The BLUE WORKS Industrial Grade High-Performance PTFE Lubricant provides superior lubrication and corrosion protection under extreme temperatures, pressure and motion. It maxed out the ASTMD-3233 Extreme Pressure Test at 4,500 lbs and has a temperature range from -50F to 500F.

If you need a lubricant that is going to stick, last a long time, and withstand extreme pressure and temperatures:

BLUE WORKS Industrial Grade White Lithium Grease provides heavy-duty lubrication protection that won’t melt, freeze, or run in any weather. It sprays on evenly as a liquid, and sets up dry for a thick, protective coating that won’t wash off. It has a temperature range of 0F to 300F and withstands 1,400 lbs. of extreme pressure.

If you need a product that will lubricate, penetrate and displace moisture:

BLUE WORKS Multi-Purpose Lubricant does it all with its superior lubrication and it also has an excellent rating for penetration to loosen stuck or frozen parts. It provides long-lasting, rust and corrosion protection by displacing moisture, and leaving behind a thin, clear, protective film. Unlike many other multi-purpose lubricants, BLUE WORKS contains PTFE for extra lubricating power.

If you have a corroded fastener or stuck bolt that just isn’t going to budge:

BLUE WORKS Industrial Grade Penetrant works fast to free corroded, stuck parts. What makes this penetrant so special? It has a very low surface tension and blew away the leading competitors in the nail climb test. The capillary action penetrates into tight crevices, threads and seams to break the bonds that hold stuck parts together. This penetrant will also lubricate and provide future corrosion protection.

If you need a quick drying lubricant that can also withstand extreme pressure and temperature:

BLUE WORKS Industrial Grade Dry Lube is a quick drying PTFE formula that provides superior lubrication and long-lasting corrosion protection with no oily residue. It is ideal for molded parts and withstands temperatures from -50F to 500F. It also can withstand 4,500 lbs of extreme pressure. That is the maximum that the ASTMD-3233 test can measure!

If you need a Contact Cleaner that can do much more than the competition:

BLUE WORKS Industrial Grade Contact Cleaner cleans sensitive electronics and electrical equipment. Cleans oil, dirt, flux residue and condensation from printed circuit boards, controls, switches, tapes heads and precision instruments. Also works on electric motors, armatures, relays, electric panels, and generators. BLUE WORKS Contact Cleaner maxed out the Dielectric Strength test machine at 25,000 volts and has a KB Value of 205! All this plus no CFCs or HCFSs and a lower 45% VOC rating which makes it 50-state VOC compliant.
